On January 25, 2022 the installation of the new archbishop of Kampala (capital of Uganda) was taking place. Bishop Ssemogerere was assigned by Pope Francis, replacing Dr. Cyprian Kizito Lwanga who passed away in April 2021. Alongside his father, a papal knight, Bhante Buddharakkhita congratulated the appointed Archbishop Ssemogerere at this memorable ceremony of the Roman Catholic Church.
